We understand that many people are concerned with the safety of shopping online, so we have developed this page to let you know the standard ways that we use the information we collect from you.
Billing and Shipping addresses:
The mailing addresses you submit are used to ship your order, process payments and, in certain cases, to mail a refund. If you have ordered items that ship directly from a manufacturer, we will share your name and shipping address with said manufacturer so that they may send your order to you.
eMail Addresses:
Your eMail address is used to contact you if a question or problem with your order arises, and to keep you informed about the status of your order during processing.
IF you have asked to be included in Product Notifications or any newsletter, other communications or events that Puppycoat Junction might offer, we will use use the same eMail address for those purposes as well.
Phone Numbers:
We ask for your phone number to provide us with an alternate way of contacting you if we are unable to contact you through eMail and a question or problem arises regarding your order. With over-zealous Spam filters integrated into some customers' eMail systems, sometimes a phone call is the only avenue of communication.
We may also use your phone number to respond to any communications that you initiate with us if eMail responses are impossible or not speedy enough for the situation. You will not receive any promotional calls from us.
The Information We DON'T Collect:
Credit/Debit Card Information
For your added safety, all orders being paid for by credit card, debit card, or eCheck are processed directly through the SSL-encrypted PayPal online payment system. Puppycoat Junction does NOT have access to your credit/debit card numbers at any time, thus they are not stored in our company's database.
Your customer information is transferred to PayPal during the course of completing your purchase. All of this information is protected by PayPal's strict security measures and privacy policy.
If you mail in a check, we do NOT retain your bank account number nor the name of your financial institution in our files. All checks are deposited into our offline company account, and we obtain verification from the bank when the funds have cleared.
How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information
You can access the personal information that you have submitted to Puppycoat Junction by logging in to the site with your password and clicking the "My Account" link that appears in the top navigation bar. From within the My Account area you can edit your information or change your password.
If for some reason you would like to remove all of your personal information and forfeit access to shopping on our site, simply contact us and we will remove your information from the customer database. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before removing your information.
Exceptions to the Privacy Policy
If it is required by law or subpoena, Puppycoat Junction may release personal information about you. We may also release your personal information if it is necessary for us to report or pursue legal actions resulting from a customer's harmful or unlawful activity. These activities include but are not limited to credit card theft and mail fraud.
